Chamber of Commerce

This week is

Nominate a Small Business of the Year 2014

Small business week was started 35 years ago to celebrate entrepreneurs and small and medium businesses alike. This year, in honour of small business week, the South Okanagan Chamber of Commerce is proud to invite YOU to celebrate an entrepreneur or small business in your community by nominating them for a 2014 SOCC Award of Excellence!

Small and medium businesses are the backbone of every community, accounting for 99.8 percent of all companies in Canada and employing more than 9.8 million Canadians! Help us to recognize those who are working hard to keep our communities vibrant by bringing them to our attention - Nominees will be business people and businesses who are strong and involved members of their community, and who make their community a better place just by being a part of it.

Categories include Business Person of the Year, Small Business (1-6 employees), and Large Business (7+ employees). Award Ceremonies will be held in conjunction with the SOCC AGM in January 2015.

Time to put pen to paper and let us know who tops your list!
