The 2015 Business Excellence Awards were held at the Frank Venables Theatre in Oliver. We held our AGM first and then had a wonderful cocktail reception in the foyer of the theatre where our guests were treated to the lovely sounds of harp music played by Ingrid Schellenberg. Greenside Bar & Grill from the Osoyoos Golf Club were our caterers for the evening and they put on a lovely spread of appetizers and desserts for everyone. Desert Hills, Meyers Family Vineyard and The Dubh Glas Distillery were there for the evening to showcase some of their best wines and cocktails.
The main event was held down in the theatre and Brock Jackson was our emcee for the evening. It was a true awards show presentation with lights and music calling our winners up to the stage and on to the red carpet. Many thanks to our main sponsor Eastlink who supported this event again this year which allows us to continue to showcase the best in business in our region. We were able to feature beautiful locally made stone awards for our winners due to the generous support of Financial Dream Solutions in Osoyoos and Okanagan Stoneworks in Okanagan Falls. We had 4 categories this year; Entrepreneur of the Year, Small Business of the Year, Large Business of the Year, and Customer Service Excellence.
