DESCRIPTION:Celebrate International Women's Day with an evening of Comedy!\n\n\n\n Syd Bosel is a stand-up comic and comedic Storyteller who is originally from Vancouver\, but recently moved to Comox\, BC. She spills your life out onto the stage\, as she shares her tales of "adult" children\, being married for 1\,000 years\, and other glories of nature.\n\n\n\nHer favourite reviews: "That older lady was really funny" (a Gen Z patron walking past me) and "My wife laughed so hard that she peed her pants" (a husband who lacks discretion\, whispering into my ear).\n\n\n\nSyd is a regular headliner and touring comic with "Jokers Canada" and "Hot Flash Comedy". She can be heard on CBC's "Just for Laughs" and "Laugh Out Loud" She has opened for Maria Bamford\, Debra DiGionanni\, Simon King and Julie Kim. Syd placed first and was voted Fan Favourite\, in the 2018 "BC's Funniest New Female Comic"\, was a finalist in the 2019 "Great Canadian Yuk Off" and 2nd (out of 65 comics) in the "Funniest Person with a Day Job" Competitions.\n\nIn 2023\, she was voted "Best of the Fest" for the Nanaimo Fringe Festival and got 4 Yeses in "Canada's Got Talent".
