SUMMARY:Linocut Art Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Join artist Molly Gray in this step-by-step workshop to learn the basic principles of linocut printmaking. Each participant will go home with a small\, hand-carved and printed edition of prints\, their carved lino matrix (stamp)\, and a new skill they can continue to pursue on their own.\n*Due to block-printing using sharp tools\, this workshop will be available for 15+ only or under close parental supervision. All participants will be required to sign a waiver releasing Molly Gray and Langley Arts Council of any responsibility for injury that may occur during the workshop.\n\n\n\n\nArtist Bio \n\nMolly Gray is a multidisciplinary artist based in Langley\, B.C. She specializes in printmaking\, painting\, illustration\, and metal sculpture. Driven by a love of hands-on creation\, Molly approaches each piece with childlike wonder\, a philosophy she carries over to her teaching and art facilitation style. Her work often depicts Northwest Coast landscapes\, local flora and fauna\, spanning styles from fluid impressionism to illustrative realism.
