    Southern Okanagan Association for Integrated Community Living (SOAICL) is a non-profit organization with operations in Oliver and Osoyoos, BC. We provide services to neuro-diverse individuals to enhance their quality of life and meet their health needs. We do this through our various programs including:

    - 24/7 Group Homes

    - Job development program

    - Day programs

    About the position:

    Being a casual, you will orientate in all of our programs. This will allow you to see all of the various aspects of our operations. Once you are done orientating, as a casual, you can pick and choose from the available shifts offered and create your own work schedule. This position is great for people looking for flexibility in their lives. There is no minimum requirement for the number of shifts you must pick up. That being said, we are currently hiring 2 to 3 people for our casual board and there are many shifts to pick up if you so choose.

    Job Requirements:

    The position requires the ability to work both as a team member and independently around the support of clients. Applicants for this position would require:

    - Certificate in the field of Community Care (or equivalent experience)

    - Valid First Aid certificate

    - Doctor’s letter of fitness

    - Current TB test

    - Food Safe certificate

    - Vaccinated for COVID-19

    As well, additional consideration will be given to candidates who hold a valid unrestricted Class 4 Driver’s License (optional). Wages would be $21.63 – $25.19 (based on work experience) and are in accordance with CUPE contract.
