• Foundry Worker

    UEE manufactures electrical solutions for mining, oil & gas, industrial and commercial, transportation and resource applications. We are an industry leader in the design and manufacture of electrical power and control equipment.

    This position requires someone who truly believes in quality, has a great attitude and an aptitude for learning to assist in with the production, refurbish and re-work of components that meet our customers specifications.

    In this role you would be responsible for maintaining quality molds, cores, and core boxes, and repair surface imperfections, form and assemble slab cores, the safe handling and pour of molten metal into molds, and read and interpret blueprints or foundry process specifications.

    The successful candidate will be capable of steady daily physical labour, highly repetitive motions, and manual dexterity.

    Requirements

    • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
    • 1 year direct experience in a Foundry.

    We will train you to do to the job to the highest standard, meeting our customers’ needs in quality, cost and on time delivery. Being able to following verbal and written direction, to ensure the efficient production of products according to established procedures, safety protocols, and workplace policies is key.

    We offer a great shift, Monday to Friday 7:30am - 4:00pm.

    The wage range for this position is $15.00 - $31.75 based on experience and education, along with full benefits paid by the company including dental, vision, extended health, MSP, as well as a great pension plan.
