    Walnut beach resort is looking for highly motivated, positive, and upbeat individuals to join our Kitchen team for the 2021 Summer Season. Surrounded by vineyards, orchards and Lake Osoyoos in the backyard we are a 112 room resort offering modern amenities, an onsite restaurant and bar, and Osoyoos only licenced private beach bar!

    As Restaurant Line Cook, you help create the dining experience our guests remember. From the moment they arrive, you can be part of creating lasting memories by providing exceptional food to complement with our excellent facilities and offerings

    With the help of great people like you, our resort is looking to expand and grow the Food & beverage offerings for our busy season running from May to September

    Job Duties:

    § Work as a part of a team to prepare and help execute daily 3 meal operations at the resort

    § Portion, prepare quality food in a timely, consistent manner following standard recipes

    § Daily opening, closing and cleaning duties as requested by Restaurant Chef; a great mise en place and clean kitchen are essential for positive guest experiences!

    Job Types: Full-time, Temporary, Permanent

    Salary: From $16.00 per hour

    Experience:

    • Culinary: 1 year (required)

    Licence/Certification:

    • Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)

    Job Duties:

    • Prepare, season and cook food as directed, meeting dietary requirements where required
    • Follow recipes and presentation specifications
    • Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
    • Clean and maintain station in practicing good safety and sanitation
    • Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes
