Walnut beach resort is looking for highly motivated, positive, and upbeat individuals to join our F&b team for the 2021 Summer Season. Surrounded by vineyards, orchards and Lake Osoyoos in the backyard we are a 112 room resort offering modern amenities, an onsite restaurant and bar, and Osoyoos only licenced private beach bar!

§ Excellent service skills in a fast-paced, high volume work environment

§ Creating exceptional guest experiences with strong passion and commitment for the job

§ Weekend availability a must

§ Valid Serving it Right certificate or equivalent

Job Duties:

§ Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, executing them efficiently, and building a rapport with the clientele

§ Engage with our guests, offering menu suggestions and be able to carry forward conversations

§ Handle card and cash transactions, ensuring that all funds in the cash drawer are accounted for by the end of the shift

§ Clean and organise the work areas throughout the shift

§ Other duties as requested

Experience:

Previous serving or bartending experience will be ideal but willing to train the right person

Contract length: 5 months

Part-time hours: 24-40 per week
