    What You Do
    Reporting to the Food and Beverage Manager, the Food and Beverage supervisors are the floor managers of our various food & beverage outlets at the resort. Our highly acclaimed and recently renovated restaurant, 15 Park Bistro, is the primary dining outlet at the resort. This role is also responsible for supervising the seasonal pool bar operations as well as assisting to lead functions in our newly renovated banquet space in the resort. Your attention to detail, talent and hands on experience will be utilized to complete the following tasks:

    • Consistently offer professional, friendly, and engaging service
    • Demonstrate a professional and positive image to guests and colleagues at all times, including maintaining a high standard of professional appearance and hygiene at all times.
    • Assist the Food and Beverage leadership team in elevating the dining experience across the resort.
    • Ensure overall restaurant cleanliness, sanitization and set up.
    • Ensure processes are followed to ensure customer satisfaction and integrity, including problem solving to handle guest complaints.
    • Oversee servers and support team members in the restaurants and banquet area to ensure optimal appearance and exceptional guest care, watchful of guests' need for service.
    • Assist in ensuring the completion of side duties of team members.
    • Ensure receipt and accurate flow of communications between shifts and the rest of the resort.
    • Manage staffing needs and labour.
    • Be trained as a Banquet Captain to help supervise banquet functions in addition to managing a restaurant floor.
    • Perform duties such as Bartender, Host and Busser when called upon.
    • Strictly follow all safety, liquor laws and sanitation policies
    • Assist in managing inventory in the food and beverage department.
    • Other duties as assigned as the resort environment is always full of exciting special events
    • Manage and verify cashouts of employees working on your shift.

    What You Need

    • A great conversationalist
    • Experience using a POS System in the past
    • Beer, Wine and Spirits knowledge with the ability to make recommendations an asset
    • Must have your current BC “Serving it Right” or another Canadian provinces equivalent.
    • An organized multi tasker who doesn’t crack under pressure
    • An attentive eye for small details and an understanding of fine dining standards.
    • Able to use existing processes and knowledge to solve problems.
    • Able to be on your feet all day and carry out light lifting is required.
    • A passion for guest service and providing a great guest experience
    • Able to coach, train and motivate a service team.
    • Minimum two years Food and Beverage supervisory experience in a hotel restaurant or fine dining establishment.
    • Must be flexible to work a variety of shifts including mornings, evenings and weekends
