General Labourer

JOB TITLE: Skilled Labourer – Full Time

LOCATION: Oliver, BC

Okanagan Containers - is looking for a Skilled Labourer to fill a full time position at its Oliver BC facility starting as soon as possible.

Working under the supervision of the yard foreman, the Skilled Labourer is responsible for supporting the yard foreman in the daily yard operations. Conditions will include working outdoors, doing general labour, assisting with container modifications, and occasional heavy lifting.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Valid driver’s license
• 1-3 years of work experience
• Class 3 an asset

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Decal new inventory
• Clean & arrange pressure washing of units
• Maintain the yard, tools & equipment in an orderly & clean manner
• Landscaping
• Building of concrete forms
• Cut dunnage with a chainsaw
• Assisting in the modification of containers
• Provide excellent service to customers, drivers & suppliers
• Assist the yard foreman in other duties as required
