    District of Okanagan Falls
As part of the transition to incorporation, the official community name will become the District of Okanagan Falls. Further details regarding governance, services, and transition planning will continue to be shared as information becomes available.

    Parks and services
Parks within the community will remain within the District of Okanagan Falls following incorporation. Additional information regarding services, including water, wastewater, and fire services, will be shared in the coming weeks.

    Advisory bodies
Three (3) advisory bodies will be established to support the transition process and provide input on key topics. Additional information on these advisory bodies, including roles and participation opportunities, will be shared in the coming weeks.

    Reconciliation process
The reconciliation process is intended to be a collaborative space, where discussions can take place with partners, including First Nations, as the new municipal structure is developed.

    Information and engagement
Residents are encouraged to stay informed and engaged through the RDOS Regional Connections website, which will serve as the central hub for updates, background information, and engagement opportunities.

Questions received from the public will be posted and answered on the project page to ensure information is shared broadly and transparently. Some questions and topics will be addressed over time, as the new council comes together to review and discuss key decisions.

    Upcoming public meeting
A hybrid (online and in-person) public meeting will be scheduled to provide an overview of the transition process and next steps. The Province of British Columbia will be invited to participate virtually. Further details, including date, time, and participation options, will be shared once confirmed.
