OUR BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Our Board of Directors is made up of passionate business and community leaders from across the South Okanagan who volunteer their time, experience, and expertise to help shape the future of our Chamber. Elected annually by our members at the Annual General Meeting, the Board brings together a diverse range of industries, perspectives, and skills to ensure the Chamber reflects and serves the needs of our region.

Gwyen Bruce - PRESIDENT

Manager, Johnston Meier Insurance, Oliver

Gwyen is the manager for Johnston Meier Insurance in Oliver. With 30 years experience in Insurance and her full designation with the Canadian Insurance Brokers Association.

Gwyen has been a volunteer for numerous organizations before moving back to her home town. Happy to support the South Okanagan Chamber and advocate for small businesses in our area.

Russell Comerford - TREASURER

Chief Financial Officer, Cascadia Credit Union

With almost 20 years of experience in finance and accounting across various industries, I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the table. I have honed my skills in financial and management accounting, cost analysis, financial modeling, and risk management. I am drawn to the SO Chamber of Commerce because of its commitment to supporting local businesses and fostering a vibrant business community.

Kerri McNolty - SECRETARY

Vice President, Burrowing Owl Winery

Kerri Wyse-McNolty, MBA, FEA is a South Okanagan business leader, tourism advocate, and Vice President of Hospitality and Marketing at Burrowing Owl Estate Winery. With more than 30 years of experience spanning hospitality, tourism, marketing, and human resources, she is passionate about building strong communities, supporting local business growth, and showcasing the unique people, places, and experiences that make the South Okanagan an exceptional place to live, work, and visit. As a holder of the Family Enterprise Advisor (FEA) designation, Kerri also helps family businesses navigate succession planning and transition from one generation to the next.

Sara Crook

Co-Owner, Crook's Cleaning & Property Services

Sara leads the cleaning operations and quality control for her company, Crook's Cleaning & Property Services. She is known for her eye to detail, calm communication, and make sure every idea feels fresh, community-focused, and aligned with our mission and values. Driven by hard work, integrity, and a genuine care for people and properties, she is passionate about delivering professional results with a personal touch.

Davinder Sandhu

Realtor, Century 21 Premier Properties, Osoyoos

Davinder and his family have lived in the Okanagan since October 2008. They are a very active family with 2 young sons being involved in soccer, swimming and hockey. Davinder has worked in both Orchards and Vineyards and he has worked in a local fruit packing plant as a Quality Manager. Davinder has his Bachelor of Commerce as well as his Masters in Computer Science, and he completed his Realtor License in July of 2019.

Diana Rensler

Job Developer, WorkBC Centre, Osoyoos & Oliver

Diana's experience in employment services, economic development, and workforce planning helps the Chamber in collaborating with local businesses and in serving the community. Her background in hospitality, non-profits, and real estate further broadens her perspective, adding value to discussions on economic and workforce trends. Diana enjoys collaborating with the Chamber community and being part of a dynamic and effective team helping our businesses thrive and prosper.
