The Role

As a Cashier & Customer Service Associate, you’ll be the friendly face that welcomes every customer, answers questions, and helps match them with the right products for their pets. You’ll play a key role in making each visit a positive and memorable experience.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience in customer service and cashier duties
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Team player with a positive, energetic attitude
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Comfortable with some physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs
• An interest in pets is a bonus! Knowledge in any of these areas is an asset (but not required): dogs, cats, aquariums and fish, small pets, birds, reptiles, or farm animals such as chickens, horses, goats, and sheep.

Customer Experience

• Create a welcoming environment by greeting every customer
• Provide excellent service by listening, answering questions, and making recommendations

Product Knowledge & Sales

• Develop strong knowledge of our products to offer sound advice
• Maximize sales opportunities and help achieve store targets
• Stay up to date on promotions, loyalty programs, and new products

Store Operations

• Ring purchases through the till with accuracy and efficiency
• Maintain clean, organized, and visually appealing displays
• Follow opening/closing procedures (when required) and adhere to security policies
